My name is Donna. I have been a qualified NNEB since 1986. I have had experience in a variety of childcare settings. I have been a childminder since 1992.

My hours of business are 8.00 am till 5.00 pm

Monday to Friday.

​

My hourly rate is £5.50 per hour for pre school ages

​

I am registered for government funding, and Tax Free childcare.

​

​

As a parent my self, I appreciate the need to feel confident that my child is in a safe and nurturing environment, which can feel like a home from home. My primary goal is to ensure this environment for parent and child.

​

I have been a childminder since 1992 and have a "Good" grade from Ofsted.

I keep up to date with training in childcare.

I keep my first aid training up to date and have suitable insurance for my work setting.

My 34 year old daughter, who is a nurse, often assists me with the children.

To help to entertain and stimulate your child I offer the following facilities:

A wide selection of fun and educational toys and games. (Children are encouraged to choose toys and activities the would like for the day.)

Arts and crafts.

​

We have a  wide selection of books with added trips to the library.  A selection of suitable films and television programmes for occasional use.

We have a tablet with age appropriate games (always supervised and not connected to internet)

Small, but safe and secure garden (weather permitting).

Trips and visits to parks, castle gardens and other local places to visit. We live in an area packed with interesting places to visit.

We visit the local toddler group. We have several pets who are friendly and tame. The children have the opportunity to interact with them (supervised).

 

I try to work with parents to make sure their child is facilitated for their particular loves in life.

 

Children can join in group activities with their friends here or have a quieter moment to play by themselves.
